Royce “Terry” Adkins, MD
Dr. Royce T. (Terry) Adkins serves as Sr. Vice President for Medical Affairs at Myriad Women’s Health. In his current role, Dr. Adkins leads Medical Affairs for clinical matters involving Women’s Health and Primary Care. Dr. Adkins represents Myriad’s interactions with KOLs, professional societies, providers, industry, payers, and other key stakeholders involved with Precision Medicine.
Prior to joining Myriad, Dr. Adkins was one of the founders of Tennessee Women’s Care, PC in Nashville, TN where he spent 25 years as a practicing OB-GYN physician and minimally invasive surgeon. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Ob-Gyn at Vanderbilt University. Dr. Adkins is a subject matter expert on many areas of Women’s Care and has lectured extensively on multiple topics at ACOG, AAGL, and numerous other national meetings.
Dr. Adkins is Board Certified in both Ob-Gyn and Obesity Medicine. He received his Doctor of Medicine with Honors from Baylor College of Medicine, and trained in both the Internal Medicine and the Obstetrics and Gynecology residency programs at Vanderbilt University. He is a member of Alpha Omega Alpha, Phi Beta Kappa, and has been awarded multiple awards including Who’s Who’s Best Ob-Gyns in America, America’s Top Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and Best Doctors. He is currently a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology’s Forum for the Council on Patient Safety in Washington, DC.
